Shenzhen Vanke Meisha Academy (VMA), founded by Vanke Education Development Foundation in 2015, is an innovative international school for Chinese students. It is located on the coast of Dameisha, Yantian District, with a beautiful environment nestled between mountains and the sea. VMA offers both AP and IBDP tracks, providing students with diverse curriculum options. The school excels particularly in visual arts and performing arts education, and is equipped with professional art studios, a black box theater, music rehearsal rooms and dance studios. Meisha Academy emphasizes holistic education and experiential learning, and has an independent outdoor education base, the Meisha Outdoor Camp. VMA enrolls Chinese and international students. Applicants for the art track are required to submit a portfolio. Students may choose between the AP and IB tracks after enrollment based on their academic performance. The school operates a full boarding system.
Graduation Results
AP exam pass rate is approximately 80%, average IB score is around 35 points. Graduates are mainly admitted to Top 50 universities in the United States, with some entering top art institutions such as Parsons School of Design and Rhode Island School of Design. In 2023, students received offers from Cornell University, UC Berkeley, New York University Stern School of Business, etc.
