Beijing World Youth Academy (BWYA), founded in 2001, is one of the earliest IB World Schools in Beijing. The school offers the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP), and adopts inquiry-based learning in primary school. BWYA is known for its academic rigor, with long-standing leading IB results among international schools in Beijing. Located in Chaoyang District, the school is equipped with modern teaching buildings, science laboratories, libraries, art studios and sports facilities. BWYA has a strong community atmosphere, with students from more than 40 countries and regions learning and growing together here. BWYA has high requirements for academic ability, and places particular emphasis on students' English proficiency and learning attitude. The quotas for some grades are limited, so early application is recommended.
Graduation Results
The average IB score has consistently remained above 36 points, far exceeding the global average. Over 75% of graduates are admitted to the world's Top 50 universities, including world-renowned institutions such as the University of Oxford, the University of Cambridge, Imperial College London, the London School of Economics and Political Science, UCL, the University of Toronto, UBC, and New York University.
